Logistex completes total warehouse integration project for Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company’s Romanian facility

International materials handling systems integrator Logistex has completed a new automated high-bay rack-clad warehouse in Ploiesti for Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC), on time and within budget. The project was successfully delivered within a demanding timescale without affecting on-site production. As the first automated high-bay rack-clad warehouse system in Romania, it marks a significant step in developing the country’s logistics infrastructure.

Logistex project manages automated storage and order fulfilment NDC for Wolseley

Logistex has recently completed a new National Distribution Centre for plumbing and building merchant Wolseley PLC, helping to consolidate products formerly stored around the country into a single, cost-effective location. As well as designing and installing a highly automated storage and picking system, Logistex project managed the main building works carried out by contractor Kirkland and Bowmer, taking full responsibility for successfully handing the project over on schedule.

Following a period of growth involving a number of acquisitions, Wolseley concluded that to control costs and compete in the building and plumbing sector, it needed to review its storage and distribution function.

Coca Cola makes space for growth with a new automated warehouse from Logistex

Logistex, the leading international supplier and integrator of automated material handling systems, has completed a new automated warehouse in Edmonton, London, for Coca Cola Enterprises. Located next to the company’s bottling plant, the new facility has eliminated former double handling when shipping products off site to local warehouses and has released space for improved throughput, operational efficiencies and better stock management.

The 33m high clad rack building can accommodate 25,224 pallets and has the scope to accommodate increased production to reach growth targets.
