Integrated warehouse solutions design and implementation

We start every project with a clean sheet. No assumptions or off-the-shelf plans. Every client’s project is unique so the design solution must be unique too. In close collaboration with the client’s team we use a series of detailed analyses to reach the most detailed understanding of the situation, what the client expects to achieve and the options available. Often we reach conclusions that throw a fresh light on the task which can lead to some innovative and unexpected directions.

When we have whittled the choices down to the most promising we provide a detailed ROI evaluation so the client understands the impact proposed investment alternatives will make to the bottom line. And no matter what you are looking to achieve, the Logistex team has the capabilities and experience to rapidly turn design concepts into detailed, engineered solutions.

The right technology for the job

The choice of technologies can be bewildering to all but the most knowledgeable. High bay or low bay pallet storage, AGVs, AS/RS or man-up trucks, fork or reach trucks, sortation systems, shelving and racking, carousels, elevators, palletisers, RF and bar code scanners, software systems – the list goes on.

As an experienced independent integrator we have the expertise and know-how to select the most suitable equipment and systems, ensuring they are compatible, cost-effective and from suppliers we can depend on to back their products for years to come.

Our technical team comprises staff with a diverse range of backgrounds and able to offer a true insider’s view of every aspect of the technologies and equipment available, experience and freedom few others can offer. Once the solution is agreed, we work with the client, suppliers and contractors to agree a schedule and programme to minimise any disruption to the business and ensure we meet any critical deadlines, to ensure on time completion.

Project Management

Our project management team oversees every aspect of the delivery, installation and commissioning, with a progressive handover to the client’s staff as they become familiar with the new system. And we insist on staying around until the project is up and running smoothly to the client’s satisfaction. That’s another value. With the vast increase in computer processing power now available, some form of software management is now virtually essential for any form of storage, materials handling or supply chain function. The ability to link goods movement and information between the warehouse, shipment, production and retail can provide an efficient and fully integrated process, making optimum use of an organisation’s resources.

Few companies can match Logistex’s longevity and experience in developing Warehouse Management Systems and other software specifically for the logistics industry for more than 30 years. Fewer still combine the freedom to source the most suitable equipment from the market with its own in-house software expertise to blend the various components into a holistic, integrated system.
