Team Logistex are excited to be entering the 2015 Nightrider Challenge in support of the Challenging Behaviour Foundation (CBF). The team is made up of:
Neil Marron (Account Development Manager)
Jerry Woodhouse (Managing Director)
Dave Robson (Account Manager – CSS)
Adam Allwood (Senior Solutions Design Engineer)
Bernie Ryan (Systems Manager)
Kevin Bradley (Systems Upgrades & Enhancements Project Manager)
Tony Hughes (Senior Solutions Design Engineer)
Bernie’s and Kevin’s better halves are also getting into the team spirit and taking part!
In June this year, Team Logistex will join over 4000 cyclists, all raising funds for hundreds of different charities, for a 100km cycle through the city of London while the rest of the Capital sleeps! The route will take them past over 50 of London’s most famous landmarks, with highlights including the Tower of London, Royal Opera House, Abbey Road Studios, Buckingham Palace and the London Eye.
As well as seeing the sights, Team Logistex will be working hard to raise money for The Challenging Behaviour Foundation which sets out to improve understanding of challenging behaviour and ensure that people with severe learning disabilities are able to live full and active lives in their community. The CBF provides practical information for families and professionals about understanding and supporting children and adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Individual telephone and email support is provided via Family Support Workers, as well as workshops and an online network for families and professionals.
