Logistex appoints new General Manager – Engineering Support Services to support business growth

Logistex has appointed Darren Alden as General Manager – Engineering Support Services to support the growth of the business. Darren is a familiar face having previously worked at Logistex, where he was responsible for its residential sites, before leaving to join Marks and Spencer to head up their engineering maintenance operation at one of their major sites.

The role was created to support the growing Engineering Support Services business and to further develop the range of CI based services that Logistex now offers to the wider automation industry.

In his new role Darren will be responsible for the operational delivery of Logistex’s Residential Engineering Sites, Field Operations, Technical Support, Hotline and Spares.

Darren has extensive experience in MHE automation systems having worked within Logistex, Marks and Spencer, as well as other automation system companies during his career. During his time away from Logistex he has further developed his expertise and broadened his knowledge in other techniques that fit well within Logistex’s developing ESS business.
