The date for the 2016 European Supply Chain Day has been confirmed as Thursday 21st April. The day provides a unique and exciting opportunity to raise awareness of the logistics and supply chain industry and to promote the profession to the younger generation through a variety of events including open days, site tours and school visits to name a few. 2015 saw over 38,500 participants visit more than 450 events all across Europe.
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport will once again be the primary sponsor for all UK-based European Supply Chain Day activities. Kevin Richardson FCILT, Chief Executive, CILT, said: “European Supply Chain Day is a great initiative for all to get involved with. This is the perfect platform for all those in our profession to showcase the great work we do as an industry and I encourage you all to participate.”
