Logistex are pleased to announce that they are Partners for Automation with the networking group Logistics Leaders.
The Logistics Leaders Network, launched in 2008, provides supply chain professionals, freight transport leaders and HR specialists from all retail sectors, manufacturing and their support services with a focal point of communication, leadership, knowledge exchange and networking opportunities.
The Logistics Leaders Network acts as a ‘support toolkit’ for the 1400 members who have already benefitted from attending a range of conferences, workshops and focus group meetings. Additionally publications and regular communication keeps them abreast of the latest thinking and best practice. The network is designed to help enhance their knowledge and understanding of their roles, and how to maintain leadership in logistics as a business critical issue.
Logistex helps companies to improve efficiency and reduce the costs of their warehouse operations by providing solutions ranging from electro-mechanical maintenance services through to complete design and implementation of warehouse systems.
Our solutions design and Implementation team have successfully completed fully and semi-automated warehouse projects including a state of the art order forwarding system for VOW, automated high-bays for United Biscuits and Coca-Cola Hellenic and goods to man pick solutions at Tetra Pak.
Logistex’s team of automation experts will be on hand to networking members to assist with queries or project advice as needed.
In October 2013 Logistics Leaders will be hosting their annual Warehousing Futures Conference, at which Logistex’s Solutions Manager Martin Elliott will be speaking on ‘The effects of e-Commerce on warehouse operations’.
Logistics Leaders Network gives Logistex the chance to share their wealth of knowledge with others in the industry. Check back on the blog to find out upcoming Logistics Leaders events where you can find us.
