The annual fun run is on, we’ve been waiting for the weather to improve, but it doesn’t look like it will ever happen this year, so it’s been decided to take a punt on Thursday 26th July.
It’s not far (3.4 miles) and the terrain is flat, so even at a modest walking pace it should take no longer than 50 minutes. More importantly there will be a BBQ and drinks afterwards, we will be supplying the usual fare of juicy sausages, succulent burgers and fluffy baps.
The emphasis of this run is to celebrate our team ethos, so all Logistex employees are encouraged to participate and to bring along any partners, family members or friends that would also like to take part.
You will find Logistex at stand number 17 at this years Logistics Link South which will be held at Sandown Park 21st and 22nd February 2012. This follows on from the previous highly successful Logistics Link North.

The traditional Logistex end of year table football tournament was held at our Kettering offices and drew spectators in from all across the country.
Held on a knock out basis, teams of two took each other on in a series of first to five goal matches with the final being suitably increased to ten goals. Matches were mixed and various from 5-0 wins over before most of the spectators had returned to their places, to closely fought out marathons won by a single goal.
The final saw the teams of Jerry Woodhouse and Derek Kay play Inde Sagoo and Neil Chambers. The tightly fought match with much ball activity, regular air flighted ball movements and much excitement by Jerry throughout the game saw the team Jerry and Derek come out on top 10-6 winners, a sure result.
We would like to wish everyone all the best for the holidays and a safe and prosperous 2012.
